This page, from the original workings of SOY, maintains the "flavor" of that period. KUDOS to all who spent hundreds of hours of effort to make SOY the special group it was, and remains.

Tree House
Shermans Of Yaxley Family History Society - Tree House Council

The "council leadership" of SOY is made up of volunteers who have an interest in the families of SHERMAN/SHEARMAN ancestors, no matter which century. Our "officers" serve by mutual agreement; they had a page in, or have contributed many articles for the SOY Quarterly Newsletter (previously printed). Our "Heralds" submit articles of Sherman interest on a regular basis. Many on the council are ready to assist the researcher in finding ways to locate their missing links, Sherman or the many related families.

All cousins and anyone interested in the surname Sherman are welcome to join our merry band of researchers. Contact any of our council staff listed above.

Editor's Note:  Genealogy is tedious work, as we all know. At SOY, we have agreed that research doesn't have to be without humor, now and then.
